| Atlanta Braves Turner Field This $320 million stadium was retrofitted into a baseball-only, open-air, natural grass facility for Opening Day in 1997. The old stadium was imploded in 1997 and was converted into a parking lot for Turner Field. In Turner Field there are no bleachers, everyone has a seat with an armrest and a back. There are fifty-nine luxury suites, three party suites and over 50,000 seat for fans and if you feel hungry for pizza you can have it delivered to your seat or enjoy some peanuts from a vendor. Although Turner Field is surrounded by highways there are no bars, restaurants, souvenir shops or other kinds of entertainment near the stadium but the stadium does offer some great amenities. Coca-Cola Skyfield, at the end of the upper level concourse overlooking left field, has games for children and an area where warm fans can cool off under a light mist of water. |
